I got a pair of these late last year, mostly for spring riding at Northshore Tahoe. I had a pair of Baron's lying around so I stuck them on top. Turns out these are some of the best sidecountry skis I ever had. In the backcountry this setup was a little heavy, but the extra work on the up was paid back with interest on the down, especially in the variable conditions Tahoe spring snow provides. These skis are better than the Rossi S6 and other comparable skis. Buy some now. Go Bluehouse!!

I picked these up as a "fresh snow" ski for here in the East. Ended up skiing them all but the hardest days last season. Not that they couldn't handle it, just that I had another ski that was meant for those days. A great all-mountain ski. Super light and quick in the tight EC trees. Solid enough to keep from rattling under this big dude at high speeds. Planning to pick up another pair and mounting them with an AT binder.
The District originally grabbed my attention with it's clean, good looking graphic. I bought a pair for powder- backcountry skiing because they're fat and so very light. They ended up being my everyday ski because I love them in all conditions.

At 111 mm in the middle of the ski, the District is one of the fatter skis I've ridden. It's dimensions make it the perfect all-around ski. There is enough sidecut on the ski to carve a big turn down an open bowl. It turns easily and when I want some speed, I can let them go straight.
